What is THON?
The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, known as THON, is a a yearlong effort to raise funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer. It culminates with a 46 hour no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon known as THON Weekend. This event is held at Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center each year in the month of February. THON is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world!

How is Isis involved in THON?
Isis partners with Spank (the Penn State Men's Ultimate Team) to form the organization Spisis. Spisis participates in many fundraising activities such as the THON 5k, and canning and soliciting throughout the year. This year Spisis was proud to have two dancers stay on their feet for 46 hours straight to symbolize the enduring strength that children with cancer must have every single day. We are very proud of THON's accomplishments this year. THON 2013 fundraised a total of $12,374,034.46 for the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, an amazing success! We hope to help contribute and raise even more for THON 2014. For The Kids!
