2007 Season
Eclipse is ready to start their 2007 season. We will be performing at the Library Open House on Wednesday, September 20 from 3pm - 4pm. We will be set up in front of the Pattee Library, facing the Allen Street Gates. This is a great chance to see a small demonstration and interact with our members.Eclipse will be holding an Information Session on Thursday, September 21 at 9:30pm in 126 White Building. We will be reviewing all important information that you will need to know about becoming a member of Eclipse. There will be no formal rehearsal at this time.
Our first rehearsal will be on Thursday, September 28,2006 from 9:30pm- 11:30pm in 126 White Building. Our rehearsal schedule for the next month is as follows:
Thursday, Oct 12 9:30pm- 11:30pm
Thursday, Oct 19 9:30pm- 11:30pm
Thursday, Oct 26 9:30pm- 11:30pm
Sunday, Oct 29 9am- 2pm
Thursday, Nov 2 9:30pm- 11:30pm
Sunday, Nov 5 9am- 2pm

Last Calls!
The last two pre-season rehearsals will be held on Thursday, October 26 and Thursday, November 2, both at 9:30pm. Normal, mandatory rehearsals will start on Tuesday, November 7. This rehearsal is mandatory for everyone who wishes to march in the 2006- 2007 season.If you have any questions please e-mail Erin Ortner at elo116@psu.edu.

It's a New Year!
Eclipse's 2007 is under way! The color guard have been holding rehearsals three times a week, working hard to perfect their show for the first competition.Eclipse is pleased to announce their 2007 show featuring music from Antonio Vivaldi's "Gloria."
A complete roster for the new season has been posted, as well as a tentative competition schedule.
Eclipse would also like to announce their official activation as a Penn State Club Sport. This will allow us to have priority access to rehearsal spaces and more financial and administrative support. We are looking forward to working with everyone in the Club Sports office and we would like to take this time to thank them for all their help in our activation.

First Show of the Year
Eclipse is gearing up for the first competition of the 2007 season! They will be performing at DuBois High School this Saturday at 3:40pm. If you will be in the area, come check us out!In order to help us prepare for our first show, Eclipse is opening up their rehearsal this Thursday to our friends. Come to 126 White Building at 11:30pm on February 22 to see a preview of our show before we compete.
Eclipse will be performing at 6:03pm on Saturday, March 3 at Lower Dauphin High School.
We are selling Joe Corbi's pizza and cookie dough again this year. Orders are due by February 27 so contact any member today to place your order!

Well Under Way!
Eclipse has approached the mid- way point of their season and they are having a great year. They are looking forward to the coming weeks, nearing Chapter Championships and Wildwood!This weekend Eclipse has 3 performances. On Saturday, April 14 they will be on at 11:56 am at Tyrone High School. Later that day, they will be performing at Huntingdon High School at 7:37 pm. On Sunday, April 15, Eclipse will be performing at the Penn State Indoor Drumline Show at State College High School at 2:30pm.
The weekend of April 21 is also a busy time for Eclipse. They will be performing at Johnstown High School at 5:58 pm. On Sunday, April 22 Eclipse will be hosting their annual Friends and Family Show. The show is currently scheduled to start between 12pm and 1pm. The exact time will be finalized early next week. Check back on our website for the final time or contact Erin Ortner at elo116@psu.edu.
The All-Chapter Championship schedule for Wildwood has been posted on the TIA website. Due to changes in the classification system, Eclipse will now be competing on Friday, May 4 at 5:33 PM in the Independent Intermediate A Class. If they qualify for the final round, they will perform on Sunday, May 6 between 10:50 am and 11:58 am, both in the Wildwood Convention Center.

Friend's & Family Show
The Friend's & Family Show will start at 1:15pm on this Sunday, April 22. It will be in 126 White Building (near the HUB- Robeson Center). Please do not arrive before 1 pm, as we will be using the room for rehearsal until then. Vole, the Penn State Ballet Club, will also be performing. There is also a possibility Penn State acappella group Shades of Blue will also be in attendance.Vole will start the show and Eclipse will then perform their show twice. A Great Way to End the Season
Eclipse finished their season out at the TIA All-Chapter Championships in Wildwood, New Jersey. On Friday, May 4 Eclipse performed in the prelims competition for Independent Intermediate A. They received a score of 81.4 and placed 4th out of 11 groups to make the finals round. On Sunday, May 6 Eclipse performed in finals competition. They received the Bronze Medal in their class with a score of 83.8.Eclipse would like to thank everyone who helped them to be successful this season: Jim Schaeffer, Chris Gankosky, the Saint Marys Area High School Ensembles, the Bertolasio Family, the Ortner Family, the Greene Family, the Mocarski Family, ALL of our family and friends, and the rest of our supporters. We truly would not have been able to acheive what we did without the help of everyone.
Eclipse 2008 will be having an informational meeting and starting rehearsals in the fall. Only full time Penn State students at the University Park campus are eligible to compete as members of Eclipse.
