2007 Penn State Indoor Drumline Presents
"Dreamscapes"
An exploration of the expressions of the subconcious mind through the state of dreaming

"All that you see or seem is but a dream within a dream. They who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night."
-- Edgar Allen Poe

Each and every night in the solitude of sleep, every mammal on earth lapses into a realm of silent dreams. The significance of dreams to ones life can be realized by this simple fact of their prevelence. Many pay little attention to their dreams, often shortchanging themselves on sleep, perceiving it as lost time and as unproductive.

Dreams allow us to experience a world outside of our reality. Through our dreams we are able to fulfill life's needs otherwise unsatisfied: entertainment, adventure, fantasies, or creative outlets. Dreams may even serve to provide deep personal insight and healing necessary for ones self-preservation. While many dreams can be exciting and enjoyable, some however, can bring to one's imagination a feeling of great tension, anxiety and even horror!

Join us as we explore the vast duality of dreams in our 2007 production, "Dreamscapes."
