in the spirit of the alpha tau omega creed, alpha tau omega fraternity annually honors the undergraduate chapters most deserving of the recognition of true merit. the award is given each year to those chapters that have achieved a high level of excellence in the areas of scholarship, internal structure and operation, campus and community involvement, and an overall balance in chapter programming.
