House Walk 2009Sunday, April 26, 2009Help raise awareness of HFH's mission, and support HFH of Greater Centre County and Penn State HFH! HFH of Greater Centre County has been providing safe, decent and affordable housing for the residents in the area for over 25 years! Come out and show your support! The State College Walk is a 5-mile walk around the downtown area. It starts and ends at Grace Lutheran Church (205 S. Garner Street) You are welcomed to walk as much or as little as you please. There will be relief vehicles circling the routes just in case someone needs a lift to the nearest rest stop or back to the churches. Once you finish the course, join us at the churches for refreshments. Each individual or team walker is requested to make a $10 donation to Penn State Habitat for Humanity in order to walk OR collect at least that much in sponsorships. A team of 5 walkers is requested to make a donation or collect sponsorships of at least $40. All sponsorship money needs to be turned in at House Walk registration on April 26th.
