What is "VOICES"?
"VOICES" is an annual conference for graduate students and other interested faculty, post-docs, and professionals. Students, faculty, and professionals are invited to network and interact with peers and colleagues in science and engineering.
At "VOICES" you will have a chance to find out how various women in the sciences and engineering handle their education, career, and personal life. The breakout sessions and discussion groups will offer time for you to share ideas, successes, and struggles with other graduate students. Over breaks and brunch, you can meet other women in related fields, or relax with old friends.
Session topics may include:
- Balancing Career with Family
- Overcoming Isolation—Don't Struggle Alone
- Financial Planning
- Graduate School: Is It Right for Me?
- Women's Health and Stress Management
- Interview Skills
