Weekly UpdateTo start the meeting, we will have a discussion on an article called Global Issues in Medicine by Jim Yong Kim and Paul Farmer. The article is attached.
Here's a little bit about it: Partners in Health physicians Jim Yong Kim and Paul Farmer outline important issues such as the history of global health, the global burden of disease, and various health systems. Read this article to get a great introduction and to start building your knowledge of global health.
