This SAF chapter is a student run organization. Our faculty advisor is Dr. Harry Wiant, Professor, Joseph E. Ibberson Chair in Forest Resource Management. We are co-advised by Mike Powell, Research Support Associate. Our officers, for the 2006-2007 school year are:

All of our offices are held for one year, from September to May. In order to run for election, the candidate must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled at Penn State, a member of the national SAF chapter, and an active member of the Penn State chapter. If you are interested in running for a position feel free to email the current officers to learn more about the position. Being an SAF officer is a great way to learn more about the field of forestry, meet the professors of the School of Forest Resources, and have a fun time with fellow students.
