As a part of the student government, we are the student's main contact with the Dean's Office.   We work towards creating a student base, including leadership from other groups, and act as a representative voice for the students of the Eberly College of Science (ECoS).  The Student Council is a way for current students to make positive changes at Penn State.

General Meetings include free food and discussing recent advancements in the semester's agenda.  Additionally, guest professors discuss short, light-hearted topics with students to promote interest in the sciences.  See “Meeting Schedule” for a listing of scheduled meetings and “Meeting Minutes” for quick reviews of what happened at previous meetings.

The Student Council also provides other science based organizations with assistance, in terms of funding. More information may be found on the “Club Senators” page.
