The 26th Annual Caribbean Experience is the Caribbean
Student Association's
extravaganza, in which we display various facets of our caribbean heritage:
native cuisine, traditional garments, insturmental and dramatic presentations,
poetry and other performances.
Our sponsorship of this event spans twenty-five years and continues a tradition,
which was
initiated by Dr. Roy Austin, at the encouragment of the then president of
the university.
Over that time it has evolved into a major event that holds deep significance for not only the
members of our organization but also the surrounding state college community. This
cultural exchange serves to educate the student population about our culture and history
thereby enriching the Penn State college experience. |
