Missio Dei

Missio Dei is not just another small group. We’re not just another Bible study. We are a movement of transformed people, transforming the world.

“Missio Dei” means "The Mission of God". What is God’s mission? To renew and redeem a broken world through Jesus Christ. We are joining him in that mission. Missio Dei is all about God’s Gospel, Community, and Mission here at Penn State.

Here's a snapshot of how we work that out:

• Spiritual growth through our Gospel Groups. This semester we'll be using Tim Keller's The Prodigal God and The Gospel Centered Life studies. This is for anyone - whether you've been a Christian for as long as you can remember, or you're just curious.

Missional Communities are groups of students that meet regularly to pray, serve, learn, and live life together. Often, they share a desire to reach out to a particular group of students - from their dorm, a club, a major, etc.

• Our Sojourn Forum, dialoging with other faiths, skeptics and those with doubts and questions about faith.

Prayer meetings throughout the week, including Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12-1 pm in the HUB. Grab your lunch and join us for prayer!

Service on campus and in the community.
