Meeting Information Our meetings are every Tuesday evening at 7 PM in 108 Henderson. Come join us! What are ASR hours and the DSP? ASR hours - "Active Status Requirements" - To be considered an active member of the Penn State UP Circle K you must: - Come to at least 75% of the meetings, or review and sign the minutes (in 311 Hub) - Perform at least 15 Service Hours with the club - Pay $40 in dues to the Club Treasurer Non ASR hours - Circle K would also like to keep track of your Non-ASR hours. Non-ASR hours are service hours that do not count toward your 15 hours needed for active status in our club. This includes any service that you have done with another club or individually (this could include service you do while you are at home). These hours go toward your total service and can help you win member awards at District Convention. To tell us about your non ASR hours, send a short description of the service and how long you volunteered for, to circlek@psu.edu. You can also e-mail Danielle (dwg5026@psu.edu) with any questions you have about what counts as non ASR hours. DSP - "District Service Project" - Each year, the Pennsylvania district of Circle K organizations work together toward one goal. This year, the project is "The Kiwanis Family: One Family. Touching Lives. Through Service." Perk Points - the distict also keeps track of the amount of service we do with other members of the Kiwanis family - PERK points Governor's Project This year, our District Governor, Kady Snyder, would like clubs to help raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. Awards Every month, we want to reward our most active members! Look for awards each month for most service hours, most ASR service hours, and most social member! Also, each week we give an award called the "YOU ROCK" award to recognize a member who went above and beyond in service and leadership the previous week.
