A brief introduction

Veritas is the Latin word for truth. This name was chosen because it proclaims our desire to show the truth of Jesus to Penn State and beyond. We are a registered student group at Penn State and meetings at our own location downtown, the Upper Room, are open for all PSU students. (The Upper Room is located at 351 E. Calder Way – beside the back entrance of Family Clothesline.)

We are a satellite fellowship of State College Assembly of God and are affiliated with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, the national college ministry of the Assemblies of God.

It is our desire to see God change the lives of Penn State students, and impact the spiritual climate on campus. We want to provide students with opportunities for honest relationships with God and each other, passionate worship, life-changing discipleship, and Spirit-led evangelism. We believe that God has great things in store for this generation, and we want to be part of what He’s doing.

Our leadership team

retreatOur campus pastor Tom Reigel invites you to check out Veritas CampuFellowship at Pennsylvania State University. He wants the Upper Room to be a place you can receive prayer, bring friends to study, play games including ping pong, Wii and foosball, etc., or just hang out. The Upper Room also serves as his office space, so he'd like you to stop by frequently! Please feel free to contact Tom at any time, about anything, at 814.360.9306, tomreigel@gmail.com or facebook.com/tomreigel.

Veritas is also actively served by a team of undergraduate and graduate leaders sharing a number of responsibilities. They lead small groups and play a vital role in shaping the ministry. YOU are welcome to join one of our small groups.
