All General Meetings are held at Hintz Family Alumni Center, in Robb Hall, unless otherwise noted.
Come and do your civic duty and join us for Executive Board Elections '08. Whether you have been practicing your speech all semester or are just coming to support your favorite candidate, election night has arrived. This could be one of the most important meetings of the year because it is when we hear from all of the candidates and cast our ballots for who will represent Blue & White Society for the upcoming school year. Join us at the end of the campaign trail for election night fun!
After resting up from THON, it is time to get back on the campaign trail. We will be highlighting some of the Executive Board positions and talking about how any member can run for a position. This will also be one of your last chances to purchase a ticket for Semi-Formal. Leave your voter registration at home, come, and join us for food and fun during Campaign '08.
Bring a canned good to donate to State College Area Food Bank! Also, we will be having a silent auction with tons of great items up for bidding, like a framed picture of Beaver Stadium and gift cards to your favorite places around town. Make sure to bring come money with you in order to bid on the items. The highest bidder wins the item. Don't miss out on your chance to walk away with something great! We will be getting wings from Gumby's! All of the proceeds will be donated to State College Area Food Bank.
For the kids! This is our last general meeting before our third and final THON Canning Weekend and before THON. The countdown to the BJC is coming to an end and there is no better time to figure out how you can become a part of Blue & White Society's THON. We'll meet our Blue & White Society Dancers and hear all about the fun stuff that will be going on THON Weekend. GO STATE, BEAT CANCER!

Campaign 2008! We are not talking about McCain, Obama, Huckabee, Hillary, or Romney. We are talking about Blue & White Society Executive Board elections! Yes, the time is quickly approaching March 25, where we will elect the new Executive Board. To kick it off right, we thought we would profile the different positions the Executive Board Officers hold. Along with the election, we will be talking about some of our upcoming events for this semester. You'll be able to find out about our eating competition, Wing Bowl, along with how to purchase a ticket for Semi-Formal. We will also be talking about THON. Come and join us for our first meeting of the semester and start thinking about whether you want to throw your hat into the race!
This will be our last General Meeting of the Fall 2007 semester. Come and join other members and have some holiday fun. We will be reviewing all that we accomplished this semester, along with previewing some of the events that we will be running in Spring 2008. Come and take a study break and destress before finals with your favorite Blue & White Society Members.
FOR THE KIDS! We raised over $5.2 million last year for the Four Diamonds Fund for children with pediatric cancer. We plan to raise even more money this year! Come to our first THON-themed General Meeting of the year and find out how you can become active in THON through Blue & White Society. Our meeting will be held the Tuesday before Canning Trip #2, where we visit members' hometowns and ask for donations. If you are interested in attending, sign up by E-mailing Chair of THON-Solicitation, Kerstin Schlacter, at kas5265@psu.edu.
Come to our first meeting of November! We will be turning in the money we raised for Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, which helps children around the world. We will also be turning in the money we raised by selling pins for Bowl-a-Thon, which is a program we do with Centre County Special Olympics. We will also be talking about the rest of the activities that we have coming up this semester, including Men's Basketball and a THON Canning Trip. As usual, there will be free food and fun. All members are welcome to attend!
Come to our Halloweeen Genernal Meeting and help kick off our Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF program. Along with talking about our upcoming activities and having a ghoulishly good time, we will be dressing up in costumes! Come and stop by for free food, and prizes to the winners of our costume competition. Grab your vampire fangs, kitten ears, and witch's broom and help make a difference so kids in other countries can have a better life!
"We've got the beat. We've got the beat. Yeah! We've got the BEAT!" We also have the spirit, honor, and pride. Come to our general meeting during Homecoming Week and get excited, not only about all the wonderful things we are involved with during Homecoming, but the great things we have planned for the rest of the month. These include another Rally in the Valley, a THON canning trip, and Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. If you didn't take notice with the popular '80s song by the Go-Gos, this meeting will be reflecting our "Zombie Nation"/"Thriller" Homecoming Theme. Prizes will be awarded to the person who is dressed the best to replicate the decade we were all too young to truly enjoy. So, whether you don your highlighter pink legwarmers or slip on your Michael Jackson inspired red leather jacket, this meeting is going to be a blast from the past! Everyone is invited to come and support our Airband dancers (a lip-sync show in which Blue & White Society is dancing to "Thriller") and then pomp and decorate our Homecoming Float after the meeting!
YEE HA! Come to our General Meeting and have a grand old time. We will be holding our meeting in Room 129C of Hetzel Union Building this week instead of Hintz Family Alumni Center. Along with talking about our upcoming events, we will be having a great time with games and other fun to get ready for our annual hayride, which will follow the meeting. Free food and possibly free stuff, what could possibly be better? How about being on the floor for Rally in the Valley or in the parade for Homecoming?
