Library Open House

This year's Library Open House was a big success. Volunteers had a lot of fun helping out with various activities during the day, such as taking pictures with a pirate and finding pirate names. Thank you to everyone who helped out!

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF!

Do you miss treat-or-treating as a kid? If so, then Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is a great community service opportunity for you! Help Blue & White Society raise money for children around the world by collecting spare change.

Lil' Lions

If you love children and want to meet more Blue & White Society members, Lil' Lions is for you! Throughout both semesters, we work with The Second Mile organization and plan fun events for The Second Mile kids. Each volunteer is assigned a "Lil' Lion" buddy to hang out with throughout the event. Lil'lions is definitely a heartwarming experience that should not be missed!

Bowl-a-Thon

Do you love to go bowling with your friends? If so, volunteer to be a part of Bowl-a-Thon. Come and spend a fun-filled day with some Special Olympic athletes!

PSU-MSU Blood Drive Challenge

Take some time out of your schedule to help Blue & White Society save many lives. Donate or volunteer at various blood drives thoughout the year!

Jeans for Teens

Jeans for Teens is an event in which needy kids ages 10 - 15 go on a holiday shopping trip to buy school clothes that neither they nor their parents are able to afford. There are two ways you can help out at this event. You may participate in one or both events!

Shopping Buddy: You will be the cool college kid who gets to help a youngster shop for school-appropriate clothing. You will need to attend the training session prior to the event.

Mandatory training session: Sunday, October 28, 2007, from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM in 0209S Henderson-South Building.
Jeans for Teens Event: Sunday, November 4, 2007, from 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Gift Wrapper: It's easy math. Seventy-five kids x ? bags each = a lot of gifts! We need your help wrapping these presents after the kids are done shopping. They will be placed under their trees during the holidays. Wrapping sites will be at the Park Forest Middle School and the Nittany Mall Community Room on Sunday, November 4, 2007, from 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM.

It's wonderful to help out kids in need! If you are interested in helping out, please sign up by E-mailing the Director of Community Service, Allison Carrier.

Wing Bowl

Picture this--Buffalo wings everywhere around you the day before the Superbowl! Sound like fun? Then plan on joining us for our annual Buffalo wing eating contest, Wing Bowl! This event helps raise money for local food banks.

THON

Help Blue & White Society raise money and participate in various THON events. Members raise money by going on canning trips. Don't miss the Family Carnival where you will get to meet our THON child, Brandon! If you participate in enough THON events, you might even get the chance to be a THON Dancer!

Relay for Life

Come and walk with Blue & White Society for 24 hours while we help raise money for American Cancer Society! Relay is an unforgettable event that should not be missed.

Mt. Nittany Trail Clean-Up

Do you love the outdoors? In the spring, Blue & White Society will be participating in Mt. Nittany's Trail Clean-Up Day. Members will clean up the trail while enjoying some good food and drinks. This event is a great way to meet other members!
