First Meeting!

We
would like to invite all undergraduates majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular
Biology to our first meeting on Wednesday,
October 21 in 367 Willard at 7pm.
The
officers are committed to making this club worthwhile and resourceful to the
members, as well as sustainable for future students. We urge you to
attend the first meeting to learn about our plans and offer your input on future events.
The Biochemistry Society will aim to provide its members with the following:
-Networking within the BMB major
-Information on opportunities both inside and outside
of the major
e.g. undergraduate
research, study abroad
-Knowledge and preparation for post-graduation
plans
e.g. resume
workshops, medical school, graduate school, career info sessions
Come out to our first meeting, enjoy some pizza and drinks, and get a chance to
win a Rita's gift card.
Also, the listserv is now up and running. You can join by sending an email to
l-biochem-soc-subscribe-request@lists.psu.edu. Once you are on the list, you
can send email to the mailing list by sending it to
l-biochem-soc@lists.psu.edu. Feel free to send any ideas for club
activities or general announcements that you think would be of interest to
