Welcome to the Biobehavioral Health Society Website!

The purpose of this website is to get information on all the projects and activities the the BB H society are involved in. Through this website, you will be able to be updated on the many opportunities that we have going on for Fall Semester 2007

Our Purpose:

The purpose of the Society for Biobehavioral Health is to foster an interdisciplinary approach to health issues by facilitating communication between undergraduates and faculty. We hope to use what we learn in our major to educate students about health. Our goal is to promote ways to stay healthy while still enjoying college life.

What we do:

First of all, WE HAVE FUN! As you probably know, BBH is a rather small major and BBH Society is an even smaller group. We all get to know each other well, and are more eachothers friends than anything else. We have meetings about once a month to discuss what we are currently doing, anything new thats come up, and to have guest speakers of community members and faculty to tell us ways to get involved and about our major, respectively.

As far as activities go, BBH Society is ivolved in various activites this semester. One main involvement each year is THON. But we also have other fun and exciting activities to become engaged in. Check out Get Involved! for many other projects. And dont forget to look at current Research Opportunities if you are looking to get experience.

Who we are:

BBH Society is open to any current student who is a BBH major and wants to get more involved. We are comprised of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors-anyone is welcome. And, we are ALWAYS looking for new members!
