Introducing the 2011 Officers
CHRISTINA WINGARD
President 2011, is a senior double majoring in Accounting and International Politics. Christina graduated from Vestal High School in Vestal, NY. Outside of Beta Alpha Psi, she is a Teaching Assistant for the Accounting Department, a Bunton-Waller scholar, and conducts undergraduate research for Smeal. During the summer of 2011, Christina interned with Deloitte in their audit practice in Philadelphia. Christina can be reached at: christina.wingard@gmail.com.
LARISSA SIMKOVICH
Vice President 2011, is a senior in Accounting (MAcc program) with minors in both International Business and Italian. Larissa graduated from Mt. Lebanon in Pittsburgh, PA. Before her position as Vice President with Beta Alpha Psi, Larissa was the Secretary of the Accounting Society her sophomore year and the President of the Accounting Society her junior year. Larissa was a dancer for the Accounting Society for THON 2011. During the summer of 2011, Larissa interned with Baker Tilly in their consulting practice in Washington, DC and will be interning this Spring with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their audit practice also in Washington DC. LAUREN CASTILLO
Reporting Secretary 2011, is a senior majoring in Accounting (MAcc program), with a minor in International Business and the Legal Environment of Business. Lauren graduated from Parkland High School in Allentown, PA. In addition to Beta Alpha Psi, Lauren is a MAcc student mentor, a member of Accounting Society, and a member of Women in Business. ASHLEY CONFER
Corresponding Secretary 2011, is a junior majoring in Accounting, with a minor in International Business. Ashley graduated from Montoursville Area High School in Montoursville, PA. Outside of Beta Alpha Psi, she is involved in the Accounting Society, is on a THON OPPerations committee and works part-time at the Finish Line. Ashley can be reached at: anc5146@psu.edu.
SEAN MOFFA
Treasurer 2011, is a senior in the MAcc Accounting Program with a minor in the Legal Environment of Business. Outside of Beta Alpha Psi, Sean is also involved with the national community service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega and the Smeal Student Mentors. Sean graduated from La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania. This summer, Sean interned with Tyco International in Princeton, New Jersey. Sean can be reached at smm5540@psu.edu.
VICTOR PICCA
Director of Alumni and Public Relations 2011,
is a 5th-year senior in the MAcc accounting program with a minor in the Legal Environment of Business. Victor graduated from Carmel High School in Carmel, NY. In addition to Beta Alpha Psi, Victor is a Teaching Assistant for the Accounting Department and was a THON 2011 OPPerations Captain. NICK HERTEL
Director of Service Activities 2011,
is a senior in the MACC accounting program with minors in the Legal Environment of Business and Economics. Nick is originally from Langhorne, PA, where he graduated from Neshaminy High School in 2008. In addition to Beta Alpha Psi, Nick was the Secretary for the Accounting Society for 2010-2011, is a MACC program student mentor, and is a member of the Economics Association.
