Steps

Lady's Cross-Body Turn: On beat 4, man leads lady's right hand across her face so that she turns CCW on beats 5-6

Man's Turn: Man turns CCW under his left arm on beats 4-6

Man's Hand Drag: On beat 3, the man places the lady's hand on his stomach and then turns CCW on beats 4-6

Circle with a Double Spin: From closed position (achieved with the Circle), both partners do a rock step on beats 1,2, then triple step straight forward on 3&4, at end of beat 4, man should be starting to raise his left hand. on beat 5, man sends lady under his left arm using pressure from his right hand. Lady does two turns CW on beats 5,6 then does her triple step on 7&8.

Stop & Go: On beats 1,2, man does rock step with a full arm extension, causing lady to do a small rock step-type movement.

On 3, the man lead's the lady's hand toward his right and past him, letting go.

On 3&4, Lady triple-steps straight forward.

By 4, the man should stop the woman w/ his right hand on her right hip and his left hand on her left shoulder-blade.

Stop on 4.

Man turns lady CW by applying pressure on hip and shoulder blade.

Lady does two turns CW on 5,6 and then triple step on 7&8.)

Stop & Go Variation: Same as Stop & Go, but as the lady spins, the man also spins himself CCW

Lady's Walk-Past: On beats 1 and 2, start a basic.

By the end of beat 3, man leads the lady's hand directly past his body letting go of the hand in the process, causing her to walk past him on 3&4.

Man turns CW with the lady, grabbing her on the hips and stopping her by beat 4.

On 5 and 6, the man pulls the lady directly backwards, past his right side.

The lady travels straight backwards as the man turns CW to face her again.

Do the normal triple-step on 7&8.)

Toe Drag: Ladies: normal basic pattern through beat 6. Remember, cross right in FRONT of left.

On 7&8, drag the left foot, toe touching the floor around in front sweeping in a CW circle.

Bring to close on beat 8.

Men: do normal footwork up through beat 6.

On 7&8, bring the right foot around sweeping in a CW circle, closing on beat 8.

Lady's Slide Out: Basic footwork through beat 4.

On beat 5, step forward on left foot as far as comfortable.

Smoothly shift weight onto left foot, sliding out, and then bring right foot over into close on 6&7.

On beat 7, jump, landing right on the & beat and left on 8.

Man's Heel-Toe: 1,2 Kicks

**This variation starts on 1.**

After the 7&8 of a normal basic, on 1, kick outwards with the inside feet [lady's right, man's left].

On beat two, bring the foot back in and use the momentum to turn to face partner.

From there, jump directly into the normal footwork on beat 3.

Note: it is important to keep the basic tight and close to the partner so that the distance to be covered getting into beat 3 is minimal
