This committee plans and coordinates both social and professional events. Some events include lunches, socials, meeting activities, hiking, movie nights, and pizza nights. We coordinate fundraising events for the club with bake sales, raffles, dinners, and other events that will be decided by committee members. Professional events we organize include SWIS, mentoring programs, and welcoming speakers from across the country who are actively working in the science field. We hope to have a great semester planning and participating in activities AWIS members will enjoy. Any ideas are welcome and appreciated! Joining the activities committee is a great way to get involved in AWIS!
