Mari Haggerty received her BS in Kinesiology from Penn State in 1999. She then went on to complete her Master of Science degree in Kinesiology at the University of Kentucky in 2002. As a graduate assistant athletic trainer, Mari worked with the Women's Soccer and Men's and Women's Tennis teams at the University of Kentucky. The focus of her research was rotator cuff neuromuscular control differences in throwing athletes and non-athletes. Following her graduate studies, she accepted a position at Villanova University (near Philadelphia, PA) where she worked with the Women's Soccer and Men's and Women's Track and Field teams. Mari returned to Penn State in August of 2003 and is currently serving as the athletic trainer for the Men's and Women's Cross Country and Track and Field teams. She resides in State College.
