Congratulations to Bruno Lee, recipient of an ASHRAE Graduate Grant-in-Aid! His research topic is "Life-cycle cost analysis of the installation and operation of in-duct UV germicidal irradiation system under various environmental conditions." Graduate Grant-in-Aid are sponsored each year by ASHRAE. Applications are typically due the first week of December. From the ASHRAE press release: Alyssa Adams - Henry Adams Scholarship James Gawthrop - Alwin B. Newton Scholarship Undergraduate scholarships are sponsored each year by ASHRAE International. Scholarships include one and two years of study. Applications are typically due the first week of December. For more information on undergraduate scholarships click here and look at "ASHRAE Scholarships Available" Members of our branch are encouraged to apply for these, as Penn State students have had little trouble with receiving scholarships in the past.
