Arabic Culture

Arabic culture is one of the richest cultures in the world. It gains its richness and variety from its wide spread sources and history. Nowadays the Arab world consists of 22 countries in both Middle East and North Africa. The spoken language is Arabic.

Arabic is the largest living member of the Semitic language family in terms of speakers. Classified as Central Semitic, it is closely related to Hebrew and Aramaic, and has its roots in a Proto-Semitic common ancestor (Wikipedia).

Religions in the Arab world are Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. However the majority of Arabs are Muslims, thus, not all Arabs are Muslims and not any Muslim is an Arab.
