Lakshmi's Qs.
____________
i think most of the major queries have been raised.
I just had a few questions
1> since the recurring expenditure is very
high, AID may not be
able to finance year after year,do they have alternate
source of
finance.
2> Once the work in a taluk is completed what happens to the field
workers.
3> Once the rehabilitation of a Taluk is done, is there any means to
keep alive the rehabilitation program in that taluk on a small scale.
This
is bcos one time rehabilitation may not be the solution bcos the
number
of blind may increase thereafter.
Srivatsan's Q's.
_______________
Folks, go thru these questions. If
you have any modification or
rephrasing required, go ahead. This set is what
I could think of now. If
I
come up with some more questions by tomorrow,
I will mail them.
1) In Annexure VII, the cost of Uniform is put as 25000/- . What and who
is that uniform for?
2) For the TTI they expect people to have studied atleast till 8th. Can
you give exact figures of how many such cases you have trained?
3) What does the Medical Aid(5000/-), listed in Annexure VI,VII & VIII
cover? Does it cover the fee for the doctor, who does the eye checkup
and/or issues blindndess certificate ? or is it separate?
4) In how many taluks is this project conducted simultaneously? If a
taluk
is done, do you use the cycles and mopeds bought for that taluk in
other
taluks? If yes, can we expect that in future budget will not be set
aside
for buying new cycles and mopeds ? (though we have to consider the
deterioration of vehicles)
5) If local people are employed as field-workers, what will happen once
that taluk is done? What about the expenditure incurred in training
those
field-workers (if training is given)? If local people are not
employed
as
field-workers, do you cover the expenses of the accomodation
of the
field-workers in the new taluk?
