Koshy has been one of the main person behind the Vimukti - a community development and livelihood generation initiative in Raichur, Karnataka. His has played a key role in its watershed development and Terrakota Jewellary initiative among Dalit women.
He was also part of Narmada Bachaov Andolan for a while.
