This is further to our message of 24th November regarding the
surplus clothing which we received from Association for India's Development in
USA. I have now talked to the person in charge of the clothing distribution who
has now returned from Himachal. She told me that all the clothes have been
distributed. We have children in balwadis in 12 villages who need winter
clothing, a balwadi in Himachal, along with some very poor people in the 54
hamlets we cover, disadvantaged folk in Haryana and people in a leper colony we
are aiding in Karnal. Thus the clothing from AID i has been very useful and we
are grateful for their caring efforts. Unfortunately, we do not have any
clothing left over for your own efforts. Do let us know sooner in future if you
require clothing or, better yet, perhaps AID can send them to you directly as
transportation to Mumbai may be costly.

e-mail message of 9th September about the clothing. This is just to let you know
that we were eventually able to sort out the formalities on the 283 kgs. of
clothing all of you at AID have so kindly sent and we now have them ready to be
distributed. Since the consignment of clothes is so large, it will take some
time for them to be distributed, so please do not make any efforts to send more
at this time.

grateful for your prompt reply. We will try to get on to this today and hope the
clothing will be with us for distribution in the not too distant future. As you
had previously requested, we will take photographs and send a report on the
distribution of these clothes. Once again our very deep gratitude for the
caring, kindness and thoughtfulness of all of you in AID and for all who
contributed to this generous gesture. We are very much looking forward to any of
