- Taste of India
In addition to the Projects we support & the fundraising events we organize AID in general & AID-Penn State in particular are involved in a wide galaxy of activities ranging from All-Chapter conferences to retreats. We transform workshops to picnics, celebrate Independence Day in a distinct way by holding a vigil, serve the local community by participating in NGDOS, hold talks, deliver presentations etc. etc.

You have better ideas, we're open to them. So whether you like to play a violin, design webpages, love to drive a car, or are enchanted by graphics & computers you can contribute too. We believe there's no such thing as a person who can't contribute, and that no contribution is insignificant. The time of commitment is your choice.

NGDOS
National Gandhi Day of Service (NGDOS) www.gandhiday.org is an annual service day in honor of one of the world's greatest humanitarians M.K. Gandhi. Every year thousands of people around the country will honor Mohandas Gandhi's memory, on the anniversary of his birth, by performing volunteer services in their local communities. They clean up parks, build homes for the homeless, visit with the elderly, and perform countless other acts to contribute back to the local community. More...

Picnic/Workshop
How do you tell new volunteers what AID is all about? How do you open up their minds and make them more receptive to the problems & new ideas. We take them for a ride oops picnic.

AID Conference
AID conferences are the venues to decide in which direction AID should move in the coming years and make decisions that affect AID as a whole. With talks by well known activists, updates from all the chapters, review of the overall AID activities, numerous workshops and endless discussions that last well into the night, an AID conference is a exhausting but memorable experience. It is our belief that a volunteer who has attends an AID conference gets the bigger picture of AID and remains committed to AID lifelong. More...
