Membership:

The Penn State Advertising Club (AdClub) is a University chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The goal of the club, which is open to students of all majors, is to stimulate interest in advertising and related communications industry careers by promoting good relations among club members and the professional advertising community. To achieve this goal, AdClub hosts presentations and panel events featuring professionals from Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York and other regional agencies, as well as to organize field trips to additional agencies. Members are expected to attend these twice monthly programs and to participate in additional software and job prep workshops to prepare them for the real world of the advertising industry. AdClub also offers members a chance to research and produce a comprehensive advertising and marketing plan as part of the AAF's year-long national student advertising competition.
