"The Search for the Chimera"
James Randi spoke at Penn State University on October 28, 1998 in Schwab Auditorium at 8:30 PM.
In his lecture, titled "The Search for the Chimera," he discussed and demonstrated the methods that self-proclaimed "psychics" use to fool a credulous public.
Mr. Randi, a famous skeptic who has devoted his life to searching for the truth behind controversial paranormal claims, heads the James Randi Educational Foundation, an organization which battles against misinformation, pseudoscience, and fraud.
This lecture was brought to you by the Penn State Skeptics Club, the James Randi Educational Foundation and Svoboda's Books.
