The Penn State Altoona Roller Hockey team received a bit to the CRHL Nationals and decided to travel down and give it their best, knowing that the competition was much greater than what they experienced during the regular season. Not ranking among the top 10 teams, nobody had any expectations for the Fury. After it was all said, done and overwith, the "Cinderella Story" team, came out with a FINAL FOUR showing!
Place 4th in MAR Tournament

The Altoona Fury are coached by volunteer, Duncan Schlag. He has brought great knowledge of roller hockey after starting a roller hockey club at the University of Houston (Texas). This team would not be where it is today without the help of him.
Another person that the team would like to thank is the Intramural/Rec Sport Director, Peter Hopsicker. He is involved in keeping the roller hockey program running and finding the funding needed to keep it running. Without this guy, we would not have a program.
