The 2008 election is the most exciting election in years- It is the first election since 1952 in which neither the incumbent president nor the incumbent vice-president will run in the general election.
With the Democrats in control of Congress, conservative ideals are being threatened on a daily basis. The Democrats want to limit 2nd Amendment rights, increase your taxes, undermine the right to life and redistribute individual wealth for “shared prosperity.” Furthermore, the Democrats value international popularity over national security. They want to withdraw the troops from Iraq without considering the ramifications.
Congress has a lower approval rating than the President, a statistic that rarely gets mentioned in the media. In 2006, they ran on the promise of lowering gas prices, and prices have only risen since the turnover.
It is extremely important to re-elect Republicans to Congress and elect John McCain as our next President. These candidates will work hard to defend conservatism and protect American citizens with respect to their pocketbooks and security.
