Bringing
Magic To Penn State Since 1996 |
|
What we do: The Penn State Performing Magicians perform magic at events for the University and for groups around the State College area. We also meet once a week to practice and discuss the art. When & where we meet: We currently meet every Wednesday evening at 7pm next to Chat's Coffee Shop on the ground floor of the HUB. Look for some people with playing cards or other magic paraphernalia. A typical meeting: We talk about and perform magic. Members share their performances and request feedback from the rest of the group (a proving ground for new tricks). The meetings are informal with a relaxed atmosphere because performing magic is fun. Becoming a member: Becoming a member of the Penn State Performing Magicians costs nothing and connects you with the best magical resources on campus. Similarly, you will be put on an email list serve that informs you of upcoming events, performances, and lectures by famous magicians from around the world. You can stop by a meeting to become a member or you may send an email to one of the officers. To become a member now, visit the sign-up page. |
