SELECTION PROCESS
Application Process
Thank you for your interest in the Lion Ambassador Organization.
Please note that the selection process to become a Lion Ambassador is
a competitive process. Due to the high interest for membership to
this group, not all applicants will become members. Therefore, it
is important that you approach this application seriously.
It is very important that all students interested in applying for Lion
Ambassadors read the enclosed information carefully, and submit the application
no later than 5:00 p.m. on the last day of the fall semester.
- 1.
Submit completed application to Katie Kough in the Admissions Office,
Conklin Hall, 2nd Floor.
- 2.
Preliminary evaluation will take place in early January by the
selection committee. Each applicant will be reviewed for the
following:
- Cumulative GPA must be
2.25 or above
- Applicant must not be on
probation through Judicial Affairs
- 3.
Applicants who meet the preliminary evaluation criteria will be
contacted by mail to schedule a personal interview in January with the
selection committee. Upon completion of all interviews, the
selection committee will evaluate applicants using the following
criteria:
- 50% of the decision will
be based upon the personal interview
- 50% of the decision will
be based upon your written application

All applicants will be notified by mail regarding their selection into
the Lion Ambassadors.
