Mission Statement of Penn State Habitat for Humanity:

To build simple, decent affordable housing for low income families in the Centre Region, and across the nation.
To educate the Pennsylvania State University community about the importance of eliminating substandard housing
To create a community at the Pennsylvania State University in which bonds between Habitat members can grow
Our goal is that these efforts may go even further still. As we involve ourselves in the unique communities outside of our campus, we seek to educate our campus about the value of decent and affordable housing. We seek to bring a glimmer of hope to those less fortunate, to be friends - not just helpers, and, ultimately, to improve the lives of those around us and everywhere throughout the world.
