Statement of Belief
Capital Christian Fellowship
Our Statement of Belief is not a "creed." In a sense, the whole Bible is our creed. We recognize the existence of many differences of interpretation among genuine Christians. But we want to affirm the basic beliefs that unite our Fellowship and make it possible. To avoid a vagueness which might result confusion among our members, certain essential Biblical doctrines should be clearly stated.
1) The sole basis of our beliefs are the sixty-six books of both the Old and New Testaments of the Word of God, as defined by the original manuscripts, spoken by the Holy Spirit, and infallible rule of faith and conduct.
2) We believe there to be one Creator God, revealed externally in a Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3) We Believe that the son of God, Jesus Christ, became incarnate, was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true Man.
4) We believe that Jesus Christ allowed Himself to be crucified, shedding His blood for all sin, and was resurrected from the dead to now sit at the right hand of God the Father.
5) We believe in the personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and that He is our Savior, Lord and friend.
