It is with great sadness that we share that
Laney left this earth to take her position
as a true angel in heaven
on December 25, 2013
after battling this disease with grace and strength!

In May 2013, Laney was diagnosed with a very rare form of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with monosomy 7. She completed 5 rounds of chemotherapy and radiation and on September 19, 2013, Laney received a stem cell transplant at Hershey Medical Center.

Laney, with the help and support of her family, new and old friends, and the entire team of nurses, doctors and support staff at Hershey Medical Center,  fought valiantly a long a hard road.  She and her family were showered with support through the support and prayers from family, friends and people throughout the area and world.

Laney loved to swim, in a pool or in the ocean and to dance, with ballet being her favorite! She loved animal prints and the color hot pink and she possessed a very special eye for fashion!
