Updates, Updates, Updates
Well, it has been awhile since I have had time to update. Jacq has been appointed the new president to replace Rick Bohn. I have also taken Jacq's old position and given James Robison mine.

We are getting ready to hand out the "Gay? Fine By Me." Tshirts in a few weeks. We have dark green, light green, dark purple, and light purple tshirts. All shirts (except dark green, due to a mistake) come in S, M, L, XL, and 2XL. We are also getting plans ready for the Day of Silence.

We have ordered over 1000 pens to give as free give aways to promote the Rainbow Alliance.

I will be uploading the photo from the photoshoot we did with the Lion Ambassodrs, RAs, and faculty as soon as I recieve it. I will also upload pictures of the pens at that time aswell.

Website & Politics
Our domain name has officially changed. We now have a fully up-to-date website as well. Erica Lausch has also offically stepped down as secretary. The new secretary is me, Lonnie Cohn.

Name Change
PAW: Project Aware World officially changed its name to the Berks Rainbow Alliance as a result of a recent meeting pertaining to the group's campus-wide image. The group's original name, PAW, had symbolic meaning to Penn State and its Nittany Lions. However, the name did not reflect the image of the group. The new name, Rainbow Alliance, brings together the GLBT and allied communities into one inclusive entity. The group hopes to gain allies and understanding, while decreasing discrimination and prejudice.

Co-Chair Vote
In a recent vote, Gladys Santiago will be the new student Co-Chair for the 2003/2004 year. In addition, Shannon Reagan did not only become a new member, but was also accepted as the new faculty advisor. We also had to say farewell to a wonderful person, Christie Rodriquez, and thank her for being a super leader and a heart-filled ally. We wish her the best in her future endeavors.
