Welcome to the Penn State Berks Rainbow Alliance

The Gay-Straight-Bisexual-Ally group of Berks!

Here at the Rainbow Alliance, we strive to make our campus as diverse and safe as possible for GLBT students. As a group, our goals include:

• Identify and coordinate a network of people empathetic and knowledgeable about gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender issues and concerns.
  
  
• Act as visible support and appropriate role models for students, staff, and faculty who are both allies and GLBT members of our community.
  
  
• Work toward a welcoming environment for GLBT students for academic and personal growth within the PSU Berks College community.
  
  
• Directly address homophobic behavior.
  
  
• Educate and provide resources to members of the PSU Berks community.
  
  
• Provide referrals and to work in conjunction with other organizations with similar goals.
