Welcome to the Penn State Berks Chemical Society website. We are Penn State proud to be a student chapter of the American Chemical Society. Our goal is to use every available student and professional resource available to enhance the undergraduate student experience of our members and peers, and to serve our college and community by educating those around us about the contributions chemistry has made to our society.

We are celebrating National Chemistry week by partnering with members of the Berks-Lehigh Valley community! Please join us for NCW outreach programs through partnerships with the Reading Public Library and the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania.

BCS has been been busy!

We have been celebrating The International Year of Chemistry 2011, and are now listed as an official ACS IYC 2011 Partner.  Earlier this month, we co-sponsored the Penn State Berks Homecoming Party that took place during Friends and Family Weekend.  We also supported the Chemistry Department who hosted the Lehigh Valley ACS Section Meeting.
