SEET Speaker Series:

All seminars will be held on the third Thursday of the month from Noon – 1:00 p.m. in Reed 114. The emphasis of the talks is applied research. Speakers for 2004-05 series are:

Preparation to take the EIT/FE Exam

Signup for the Spring 2005 FE Exam by 11/15/04 and SEET will reimburse 50% of the exam fee !

We will also organize a group (discount) purchase of the EIT/FE Exam Review Book by Michael R. Lindeburg, P.E. (ISBN 1-888577-53-3)

Review for the EIT/FE Exam

During February and March 2005, weekly review sessions are planned.

We will review Math, Chemistry, Physics, Statics, Strength of Materials, Thermodynamics, etc. in a once per week, 2-3 hour meeting.  Last year, it looked like this:

2003 EIT REVIEW LECTURE SERIES

Sponsored by the ASME Student Sections at Penn State-Erie

The EIT review is approximately a ten-part lecture series focused on preparing juniors and seniors for their first step toward a professional engineer’s license. A different topic will be covered each week by a professor experienced in that area. The lectures will last from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) on the dates indicated.
