Where are they now??

KYLE BRADY (former Penn State football player, now playing professionally with the New York Jets): An interview - Following Kyle Brady's outreach in February 1996, where he spoke to over 300 students about the secret of his success, he answered the following questions about how God has impacted his life. Regarding his first year in the NFL, Kyle was asked:

HOW HAS HAVING GOD IN YOUR LIFE HELPED YOU?
"God's helped a lot with perseverance and being hopeful. It's been a year of looking up Bible verses on perseverance and hope! Isaiah 55 says: 'those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on the wings like eagles: they will run and not grow weary and they will walk and not grow faint.' I look up verses to know God better and keep up my hope, courage and desire. When I wait on God, I know everything will be OK."
WHAT CHARACTER CHANGES HAVE YOU SEEN IN YOUR LIFE AS A RESULT OF INVITING CHRIST INTO YOUR LIFE?
"It's been a slow, but sure process. It's not an overnight thing...it's not like one day I was a wild college kid and the next day I was godly. God has instilled in me greater discipline, a better work ethic, and perseverance. It has helped me become more of a finisher."
DO YOU BELIEVE THAT A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST IS FOR EVERYONE?
"DEFINITELY, the Lord desires that NONE should perish! He wants all of His children to come to Him, no matter what they may have done."
WHAT DOES RECEIVING CHRIST INVOLVE?
Kyle felt Revelation 3:20 explains what Christ says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. Anyone who hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him." Kyle explains, "God always wanted me to come into my life, but I was in rebellion and going my own way. I came to Him and said, 'I've messed up a lot and I have sinned against you'. I asked Christ to come into my life and turn me around, to forgive my sins, and help me live in the way He wants me to."
Although he grew up in a church-going family, Kyle was never told about a personal relationship with Christ. His freshman year he roomed with Craig Fayak, Penn State's field goal kicker. Kyle explains, "Craig intrigued me with his Bible reading and he had a peace that I didn't have. Unlike me, he wasn't worried about hanging out with the best people or being popular. I was basing my life and my identity on my football performance and being with beautiful women...that's where I thought I'd find happiness. I started going to an AIA Bible Study for football players conducted by Tim Mc Gill. There I learned that God wanted a personal relationship with me! One day in my dorm room I prayed to receive Christ as my personal Savior and that's where it all started." Praise God for what he has done in Kyle Brady's life!!
