We are dedicated to
all those interested in Science.
This club provides Penn
State Altoona students with the opportunity to stay abreast of scientific news
in biology, physics, chemistry, geosciences, and mathematics primarily through
organized outreach, field trips, and hosted seminar talks.
We participate in campus
outreach events like serving as judges for the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of
Science or assiste with the Spooktacular
Science Demonstration Show.
We host “bad science” movie
/ pizza nights, design/build/test interesting “science toys,” and we fundraise
with geeky t-shirts, rent-a-student, and car washes!
