Welcome to the web page of the Student Chapter of the Institute of
Transportation Engineers at Penn State. For some features at this site

The Chapter is currently taking nominations for Spring 2006 Semester.

"Dr. Pietrucha's Modest Proposal in Transportation Engineering"
can be seen here. It
is a slide show recommending new curriculum. It is however old, and
therefore some course names have changed or disappeared entirely, but
it is still useful to any future Transportation Engineer.
The 2004 Transportation and Engineering Safety Conference was held
Dec. 8-10th here at the Penn Stater. The website is here.
Our Second General Meeting of Fall 2004 was held on October 21st at
7:00pm in 268 Willard. Our presentor was Kevin Kline, P.E., a PennDOT
Assistant District Executive and Acid Rock Drainage Coordinator. Mr.
Kline talked about the I-99 acid rock situation.
Our first General Meeting of Fall 2004 was held on September 23rd.
The date of our second meeting will be posted here as soon as possible.
Nathan Webster gave an interesting presentation on ITS Japan on March
2, 2004. The PowerPoint presentation
is available in the Past Activities Section.
