President’s Report:            -thank you for angel gift project

                                    -there will be a table with cookies for the open house on Feb. 3

                                    -honors and award nomination- tell Eric before March 3

                                    -student activity- any programming ideas due January 26

-2 new amendments on absences and dues

Programming:            -tentative date Feb. 8 for the school project. 

                                    -Sarah will be organizing it

Recruitment:              -Feb. 13 Logan House are inductions- 6-9 pm, 7:30 start time

                                    -cake and punch from housing

-applications due Jan. 30^th

-roses from giant eagle will be ordered

New Business:            -session of talks on research in conjunction with Bio Club

                                    -talks will include topics such as study abroad and co-ops

                                    -we will advertise

-Appalachain trail: there is a big map in the lab, each year a group will walk part of the trail. Tentative date April 6-8

-speaker-think of who to bring in?

-Canoe trip w/ Bio Club- end of March couple of hours on Saturday- tentative March 31^st

-highway clean-up and wild flower planting will be at the end of the semester. Erin will give dates later

-theme social-try to get more people involved

-volunteer work- Sarah will find out about Easter gift to families

-Honors Cords were ordered, they were $5.00 each, and they will be here for graduation (6 were ordered, we have 1 extra).

Committee Heads:            Trail Hike will be this summer-weekend of June 9^th, talk to officers/social committee or Lisa Mangel for more info.

                                    Going to Allegheny National Forest is another idea for social activity.

Old Business:             -Committees-all who weren’t at last meeting, we signed up for one. Everyone needs to be on a committee, but we all will help with the activities.

                                    -Reminder, next year’s meetings will be Tuesdays, at 7 in Reed 3, first meeting will be Aug 28^th.
